BZ Chemistry - Discover What BZ Chemistry Is

BZ Chemistry - Discover What BZ Chemistry IsThe term BZ Chemistry can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It is a word often used in science projects where you need to create a reaction using chemicals in order to create a finished product. BZ Chemistry is a great word that allows people to have fun while learning something new about their chemistry. One way you can use BZ Chemistry is by combining ingredients in order to make something that you cannot just make by adding the ingredients together. This can be very easy, and if you do not want to do it yourself then there are websites out there that offer their services at a much lower cost. Making something that was not intended to be made by combining different items can be great fun, and it can be done on a small scale with some simple experiment equipment. One example of this would be combining chopped up foodstuff to see what happens. Experimenting with things like water, and different acids can be very fun , and your hands will get quite dirty. Another way you can use BZ Chemistry is by reacting different materials together and creating different materials that can be used to make different things. In this case it would be possible to use baking soda and baking powder to make a bread making soda bread or a jar of molds to make eye shadows. The possibilities are endless and using these methods you can be guaranteed to have a great time experimenting with your BZ Chemistry. To keep this from being too overwhelming, and to allow you to be able to learn the steps that are needed for each of the methods, each of the steps will be given in the way that is most understandable to you. Let's say you have purchased jars of mold and eyes to make a jar of molds. First you will need to take one of the molds and soak it in some water to soften it up, and make it easier to work with. Then you will have to pour some water into the mold, and try to put some sugar inthe mold to soak into the water. Now t hat you have the sugar soaked into the water, you will be ready to use BZ Chemistry to make this into a solution. First you will mix some salt into the water and then add some kind of stabilizer to make sure that everything stays balanced. This will make sure that the sugar mixture has a strong enough base for the sugar to bond with and become crystallized. Now that you have made a solution, you will need to use a syringe to add a drop of BZ Chemistry to the water, and mix the two in order to make a solution. This is important to keep from introducing a number of other elements into the water that could get mixed in.Now that you have a solution made out of the mixture, you will need to fill your mixing bottle with water and wait until all of the mixture has dissolved before starting the whole thing over again. This is what is called a double-blind test, which means that you are not going to know whether or not you have used the correct solution, so that you do not have any accidents. Once you have done this, you will then add the mixture to the baking soda, and mix that in until it turns into a solution. You will now repeat this process with the salt, until the concentration of the BZ Chemistry is exactly the same as the concentration of the salt in the water.

How to Manage Your Time During MCAT Prep

How to Manage Your Time During MCAT Prep Given the amount of material the test covers, preparing for the MCAT can definitely seem overwhelming. There is no doubt that you will have to spend many hours preparing, but those hours arent maximally beneficial unless you manage your time appropriately. Below are four ways to ensure you get the most out of your MCAT preparation time. 1. Create an individualized study schedule Before you begin reviewing, take some time to create a study schedule specifically tailored to you. Be honest with yourself when making this schedule, and keep it realistic (i.e. if you feel like you dont get any productive studying done after eight hours, then dont schedule 10-hour study sessions). Include all of your other commitments in this schedule (classes, work, research, volunteer activities, etc.) so you can have an idea of how much time youll really have available for studying each day. Most importantly, individualize this schedule by prioritizing your weaker subject areas. Here are some great MCAT practice teststo help you with your studies. If youve always had more trouble with organic chemistry, kinetics, and thermodynamics, for example, then make sure you devote more time to these topics. To balance it out, schedule slightly less time for subjects with which youre more comfortable. There is no cookie-cutter schedule that will work for every student, so invest some time beforehand into making a schedule that will work the best for you. Here are 5 random items to help you studythat you may find useful. 2. Schedule in flex days This is an incredibly helpful strategy that will not only help with your MCAT preparation, but also continue to help you throughout medical school. When making your study schedule, mark off about one day every two weeks as a flex day. If youre behind in your schedule, which almost invariably happens, use the flex day to catch up on reviewing material. If, by chance, you are still on schedule, use part of the day to study your weaker subjects, and take the rest of the day off to give your mind some much-needed rest. 3. Schedule in time off Be careful with this one. Scheduling time off is often more beneficial than scheduling in entire days off. Of course, you need time to not only rest, but also get your mind off of studying and unwind. However, sometimes taking entire days off can make it difficult to get back in the zone the following day, and you may consequently end up losing even more than a full days worth of study time. Instead, try scheduling at least one lighter day each week where you study for about one-third to half the time you do on a normal day. This way, you ensure that you make some progress each day of your prep period and that you keep your momentum going. Remember, the MCAT is longer than many other standardized tests, so training yourself to think for long periods of time is vital. Consistently reviewing material helps build your mental stamina and ensures that you stay on pace with your schedule. So, elect to take time off to relax and unwind; dont interrupt your study with entire days off if it c an be avoided. 4. Prioritize extracurricular activities Pre-med students are often involved in much more than just academics. Research, volunteer work, leadership roles, and other extracurricular activities can take up almost all of your spare time as a busy pre-med. However, its important to put your best foot forward when preparing for the MCAT, as this test can single-handedly sometimes mean the difference between getting an interview or not at many top medical schools. Before your MCAT prep period, take some time to really map out and evaluate the extracurricular activities with which youre involved. Aim to prioritize a few of them, the ones you are most passionate about, and maintain your involvement in them during your study period. Here are a few great tips on how to choose your extracurricular activities. This will not only show admissions committees that youre able to handle the academic rigors of a full course load along with the MCAT, but will also give you a much-needed stress outlet. Its equally important to scale back your i nvolvement in groups you arent as passionate about that just simply take up your precious time. Realize that this only has to be a temporary measure, and you can pick up your involvement after you are finished with the MCAT. The crux of the matter is this: preparing for the MCAT is not easy. It not only requires a significant amount of time, but to be successful, you must ensure that your time is managed correctly. Aim to individualize your review process based on your strengths and weaknesses, schedule in flex days and time off, and evaluate and modify your outside commitments so you can put all your effort into the MCAT for a few months. The end result will be worth it.

How to Identify Voice Types Subtypes

How to Identify Voice Types Subtypes Suzy S. Are you a soprano, alto, tenor, or bass? Learn how to determine your voice type in this guest post by Ann Arbor, MI voice teacher  Elaina R So, you want to figure out your own voice type. You probably just want to know whether you are a soprano, alto, tenor, or bass. Unfortunately, things are a little more complicated than that. The good news? It doesn’t matter as much as you think. Before you rush to the keyboard to try to figure out your voice type, keep two things in mind. First of all, how old are you? If you are under 20 (or under 22 or so if you are male), your current range is still in progress. It will likely continue to change as you get older, so you can’t figure out your voice type for a few more years. Second of all, have you had any vocal training? If not, your vocal range can change drastically as you learn how to use your voice. I can’t tell you how many times women have come into my studio insisting that they are altos, only to unlock entire octaves of range they didn’t know they had! That being said, here we go! Voice Types and Subtypes There are five broad categories of voice types: two for women and three for men. I’m using operatic voice types here, because they are the most specific than other classifications, but Ive given pop examples of each voice type as well. Soprano Soprano is the highest voice type. Even the lowest types of sopranos can sing C6 (6th C on the keyboard, counting from the bottom,) or “high C.” The highest sopranos can sing well above that. Pop music sopranos include Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Ellie Goulding. These voices have a lighter tambour and easy access to high notes. These are the operatic soprano subsections, in order of highest to lowest. If you listen, you’ll see just how much variety there is under the one title of soprano â€" and the other voice types as well. • Coloratura soprano (example: Lucia Popp. And me.) • Soubrette • Lyric soprano (example: Renée Fleming) • Dramatic soprano (example: Christine Goerke) Mezzo-Soprano Mezzo-sopranos are women with lower voices. They are referred to as altos in the choir world. Some women with extra-low voices are referred to as contraltos. Some mezzo sopranos can sing C6 (and rarely even higher), but most of them top out before C6. In popular music, singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Adele are mezzo-sopranos. The mezzo-soprano subsections, in order of highest to lowest, are: • Coloratura mezzo-soprano (example: Isabel Leonard) • Lyric mezzo-soprano • Dramatic mezzo-soprano • Contralto (this is actually a separate category, but I’ve combined it here because of its rarity. Example: Larissa Diadkova) Tenor Tenors are high-voiced men. They can typically sing up to a B4 in full voice; some of them can sing higher. Examples of tenors in popular music include Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, and Adam Levine â€" look for easy high notes and some falsetto. There are more subsections for male voices than female voices, so here are some of them (highest to lowest): • Countertenor (this is also technically a separate category for men who sing predominantly in head voice, but it is rare. Hear it here.) • Leggero tenor (example: Luciano Pavarotti) • Lyric tenor • Spinto tenor • Dramatic tenor (example: Giuseppe Giacomini) Baritone Baritones are halfway between tenors and basses. Even the highest baritones typically can’t hit a C4, or ‘high C,” but they can sing down to a G2 or lower. Examples of baritones in popular music include Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. Here are some of the more common baritone types (highest to lowest): • Lyric baritone (example: Mariusz Kwiecien) • Verdi baritone • Dramatic baritone (example: Juan Pons) Bass Basses are the lowest male voice type. To be honest, I can’t think of a single one in popular music (maybe Louis Armstrong). Looks like it’s high time we had one! Basses can sing down to E2 or lower, and their highest notes are around E4 in chest voice. In the operatic world, here are some of the subsections: • Bass-baritone (example: Luca Pisaroni) • Basso buffo • Lyric basso profundo • Dramatic basso profundo (example: Matti Salminen) Still confused about voice types? Check out the video below for some helpful pointers about how to find yours! Combination Voice Types You can’t pigeonhole voices very easily, since they tend to be versatile and many of the above voice types overlap in range. In the end, it’s more a matter of the tambour of the voice, what the voice sounds best singing, and what repertoire the vocalist prefers. For example, I call myself a light lyric coloratura â€" I can sing very high, but I also sing plenty of lower repertoire. Some people just call themselves zwichen fach, which means they fluctuate between voice types. If you listen to some of the examples above and explore your range using a keyboard and good vocal technique, you may be able to figure out your voice type. Knowing your broad voice type can help you choose music that feels â€" and sounds â€" good in your voice. Curious about more specifics? Talk to a voice teacher! It can be hard enough sometimes trying to encourage a child to sit down and do there homework. Imagine convincing them to take a bus or walk along to a tutor's home to do it!You can teach in any room that's suitable. (Source: ErikaWittlieb)With the tutor coming to them, they just have to get out their pens and books and wait for their tutor to arrive.Even if a student is waiting for you to arrive, make sure you tell them that they have to be ready at a certain time. The last thing you want is to waste the first five or ten minutes of your tutoria l because they're scrambling around looking for their homework or their textbook! This type of academic support is useful for plenty of different subjects including maths, physics, biology, chemistry, English, French, Spanish, German, etc. From a practical point of view, the student doesn’t have to waste time on public transport and they can study in a suitable environment. On the other hand, the parents will have to pay slightly more since the tutor’s rates will have been calculated taking the transport costs into account.Private tutorials at a student’s house are also a good way to make students feel more at home (literally). Some students struggle with studying in an unfamiliar environment and to make your life and your student's life easier, you want to make them feel as comfortable as possible. So how can you help a student who’s struggling before their first tutorial’s even started?Another huge advantage of travelling to the student’s house is that you have the option to also teach primary school children who’d otherwise need to be taken to your house or take public transport on their own. Those who are very young probably wouldn’t be able to traverse larger cities.Find reputable online teaching jobs here. What Are the Disadvantages of Teaching at the Student’s House? It’s midday and I’ve an hour-long maths tutorial. I have to leave at half past to get to my student’s house for two in the afternoon.Sometimes you’ll be expected to travel long distances if you live in some of the larger cities in the UK.If you don't have a car, getting to your student's house mightn't be worth it. (Source: Didgeman)If you earn £20 or £25 the hour, it can quickly become half that amount once you’ve considered how much travelling you’ve done.I used to teach science tutorials and I was wasting so much time travelling to teach just one student. It’s was worrying because I couldn’t make the student pay double. That’s one of the main problems with teaching a student at their home.Secondary school students tend to have busy schedules (especially when they're doing their GCSEs and A Levels) and are rarely available for some of the most common working hours during the week.Private tutorials need to work around the student’s schedule. As a result, you may be expected to offer tutorials during evenings, weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays. In other words, a private tutor tends to work when everyone else isn’t working. Academic support is often presented as a way to help a student improve their grades, better understand certain aspects of their classes, and revise for exams and do test prep.Even experienced tutors aren’t miracle workers. How can you teach a student who has literally no interest in learning?Wouldn’t it be better to try a different approach? You could teach your classes outside in a relaxing public place like a library, cafe, etc. Of course, if your student’s an adult, a quiet pub could be ideal. Of course, it goes without saying:  You can’t take primary school students to the pub!If the weather's nice, there's nothing stopping you from taking your tutorial outside! (Source: cocoparisienne)Some subjects, like foreign languages, can be taught almost anywhere. It’s much nicer learning French or Spanish in a nice café or outside in the sun when the weather’s nice. How would you plan for your first lessons outdoors?Academic Support Tutorials at the Tutor’s HousePrivate tutors living in big cities should be able to find tutees throughout the whole year. What about those living in smaller towns or the country? If you live in the countryside and have an internet connection, you could always teach online tutorials. (Source: 12019)Even in towns with a population between 20,000 and 30,000 inhabitants, finding a private tutor can be quite difficult because there aren’t many tutors about, especially for rarer subjects.  It can be even more difficult in the countryside to find one on one tutoring. In some cases, tutors can teach tutorials at their own home. While most people think that home tutoring takes place in the student's house, in some cases, it can be better to get help with your studies at the tutor's house because they can set up a dedicated classroom in their house or flat.Childminders can also tutor the children they’re looking after.  After all, learning games with very young children are basically like private tutorials for the young. A childminder could also help a child do their homework before their parents pick them up. Becoming a private tutor for young children could help childminders find more work and earn more money.Teaching academic support tutorials online is another way to do it. Naturally, such lessons must be planned meticulously...Offering Online Tutoring ServicesIt doesn’t matter where you live, you can offer one on one private tutoring to anyone in the country via webcam. This is a learning approach that suits children living in rural areas. It can be difficult to find a tutor for students in smaller towns and villages where there are so few inhabitants that one to one tutoring and private tuition wouldn't be viable. The digital revolution has changed the private tutorials market by letting children and adults living in villages with fewer than 100 inhabitants learn. This means that there are academic tutoring jobs available to everyone with a decent internet connection. That said, it can cost you more to get started as an online tutor as you'll need to make sure your internet connection is fast enough and maybe even upgrade it. You'll also need to invest in a decent webcam and a microphone or a headset. While many laptops come with these built in, they're usually not very good.Remote learning means that the student doesn’t have to be in the same physical location as the tutor. How do you do it? How do I get paid? The simplest way is to get paid via bank transfer or PayPal. You could also get paid by cheq ue, but this will take much longer. You could also create an academic support website where your students can pay online for your tutorials like they would any other product on an online shop. For students who need help with languages, one on one tutoring over webcam is great because you can still speak with the learner. If they need to succeed in a speaking exam, you could consider scheduling intensive speaking sessions. For students struggling with calculus, geometry, trigonometry, and algebra, there are plenty of useful online resources for mathematics tutors. Don't worry that your student isn't in the same room as you, an online tutor can use software to correct homework or an assignment remotely. For students that need general academic coaching or help with their studies, an online tutor can be useful for providing important feedback on their work, set them tasks to do, and schedule regular mentoring sessions.Don't forget that in addition to choosing the right place to be tutored, you need to be confident in your choice of tutor. To find the best tutors and guarantee academic success, you should keep in mind that most tutors on Superprof offer free tutoring for the first hour. Get the most of this hour by discussing how your child is doing in school, what their instructor can offer them in terms of study skills, and have them sit down with your child so that they can work out their strengths and weaknesses. Now enjoy more ideas for giving home tutorials!
